"I have always loved Karachi because I have lived there from 1954 to ,I went to school there called the Dutch School,When I whas twelf years old I had to leaf with my parents,I always wished I could come back sometime to see what is changed,Our house stood in the PECHS Block 2 called the Nursery and if I remember well it whas number 193Q, I had a very nice time there and still love Karachi." "It is true that Karachi has a lot of dust, traffic jams and even bad weather, but the fact is that the people are the best here. That's why we're now among the 12 mega cities of the world. It is being developed at a slow rate and our traffic jams are usually because of the construction of flyovers and underpasses, but as soon as all of them are completed (some are), that will be solved. There are efforts being made to increase the no. of trees and greenery in the city. The living standards may not be good for some but that's the only problem I find in it. Judging by the progress we have made with all the difficult conditions surrounding us, I'd say that we are the most hardworking city that ever existed. That's why I'm damn proud of being a Karachiite!" Hala Paracha
